What are the chances of a waterheater thermostat crapping out on the same exact day as the thermostat on a heatpump? In the same house, mind you. And just when the thermostat on the outside of that house hit that very charming digit of ZERO...

I remember when we used to live out in that area, we had our well pipes freeze up (thermostat on heater in pump house went dead), furnace go dead, and chimney was too clogged to use to heat the house. It was a cold day, that's fer shur....One of the perks about living in paradise ;-)

After I read that, I had to rush out and check the level on my propane tank. I'm not a good cold person.
