Today is the first day of Winter here in Central Oregon. We've been getting about a half inch of snow in the past 12 hours, with flurries forecast to continue all day. To think - three days ago I was wandering around in a t-shirt in downtown Bend, amongst the trees, bearing their most gorgeous Fall finery. It was 80 degrees then.
Mother Nature truly is fickle.
